At food preservation we had fun making fruit cocktail. I liked the pears and apples the best. I liked it when we got to chop up the fruit and stuff the fruit in jars. I also liked it when I got to help the younger kids. Food preservation was fun!

I helped plant trees on Saturday in the city of Livermore . I'm glad I did because I get to see them grow while I grow up in Livermore .

I found out that the City of Livermore was planting trees. So my family and I called some 4H families to help. Last Sat. we planted 25 trees. K and I planted 6 of them. It was a lot of fun. I'm glad everyone decided to help because there would not have been a lot of volunteers. Plus we were on the channel 30 news. I hope you get a chance to help next time.
