4-H SKATE NIGHT was a huge success. Many of our members and parents participated, wore costumes, won prizes, and had a great time. If you didn’t attend this year, be sure to plan for it next year. It’s fun for the entire family. For those who did attend, it is Item 3 on your new PDR Form.
CAL CONFERENCE applications are due to Carol Crossett at the county 4-H office by November 17. Be sure to include half the fee, $70.00 (the county pays the other half) and $10.00 for a t-shirt. This conference is recommended for 7th through 9th graders. Call Margaret 447-6980 to get your application now.

SKIT NIGHT, “4H and the Super Heroes,” is starting to shape up. We have an adult
advisor, Christy Ruzicka, and now need youth chairs
and members to participate. Please sign up for this fun activity; it earns many credits on
your PDR form.
Enclosed in this newsletter is the refreshment list for the year and a draft of our membership roster. Please check the roster for accuracy and call Margaret 447-6980 for corrections and/or additions.
Del Arroyo 4-H has been approved for fundraising through Albertsons Community Partners program. You can register your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card and we can earn up to 4% of all purchases. This club made a conscious decision several years ago not to do any youth fundraising (selling wrapping paper, candy bars, pies, etc.), because they seem to have so many between school, band, and sports activities. This is an easy way to raise money for our club without selling anything. Please get an enrollment form at our CC Meeting for yourself, your friends and neighbors, and your extended family.
