What
are Projects? |
|
A project is an area
of interest that is lead by Junior and Teen Leaders
and is overseen by adult leaders that are certified
and fingerprinted by the UC Davis program.
Current projects are offered yearly with a promise
from an adult leader and a teen or junior leader.
Current projects vary from year to year and from
club to club. The more families that have
interest...the more offered. Remember we are
only able to do this because of you!

|
How do I
Join a Project? |
|
Come to our
Community Club Meetings. See our home page for all
announcements. You will have the chance to
meet the Teen and Junior Leaders for all of the
groups at these meetings. All of the
projects will have different times to meet through
out
the year.
4H is open to youth
5-18 years old. Each project will specify the age
requirements. Primary members 5-8 may be
limited to certain projects.
The project list
will be updated during September through November as we
see where interest lies and the volunteers that will
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
|
|
How Do I
Start a Project? |
|
Be a volunteer leader
that wants to make a difference with our youth and
our community.
Hold meetings for the
project in accordance with the UC Davis guidelines.
A volunteer leader
must be fingerprinted.
All leaders must
attend a Leader Training Workshop.
And most of all,
all volunteers must have a love of interest to
guide, teach and direct all youth the life skills,
community service, citizenship and the leadership to
further their education and their lives.
