Rodeo Parking Clean Up: early July
Mow the lot on Bernal Street, clean up the trash and haul it away if needed. Call 4-H members to come and help pick up trash on clean up day.
Rodeo Parking: July
Coordinate sign ups to work the shifts on the assigned days. Set up, supervise, be responsible for the money taken in and clean up on parking days. Parking days are the Saturday and Sunday of the Rodeo.
Summer Barbecue: Summer
After the date and time is set by the host family and the club you will send out invitations (which include what food items to bring), take RSVPs, set menu, shop, plan games and clean up.
MCF Food Booth: August
Attend county meetings to be aware of our club responsibilities. Responsible for filling all the shifts and for supervising our members and parents on our assigned work day.
MCF Food Booth Cake Donations: August
Contact 4-H members to bake cakes for the food booth.
MCF 4-H Building Host: August
Contact 4-H members to host the 4-H building on our Club’s assigned date during the fair. Make copies of shifts to post at the animal barns at the fair.
Pumpkin Donation/Decorating Contest: September and October meetings
Explain rules of the contest at the Sept. meeting. Contact the nursing home to receive the pumpkins, organize the contest i.e. judging and prizes and deliver the pumpkins to the nursing home after the October meeting.
Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Donation: October and November meetings
Announce the Castroville Community Center Thanksgiving Dinner pie donation details and pass a sign up sheet that you have made at the October meeting. Coordinate with Mrs. Cava the time and date for drop off at her home. Make reminder calls to those signed up to bake pies.
Thanksgiving Potluck Set Up: November meeting
Work with community leaders to divide club into potluck categories, get the list to the reporter to be published in the newsletter, purchase paper goods, set up tables and buffet tables.
Thanksgiving Potluck Decorations: November meeting
Plan table decorations, purchase them and decorate tables.
Thanksgiving Potluck Cleanup: November meeting
Clean up the tables, buffet tables and put the room back in order.
Christmas Angel Gifts
Organize our club gift giving to needy families. We do this through Mo. Co. Family Services. You would be responsible for contacting the agency for the list of families, passing out names to our club members (November Meeting), collecting gifts at the December meeting, wrapping and delivering.
Member Christmas Gift Exchange: November and December meetings
November meeting: explain the details of the exchange, price etc., supervise the drawing of member names for the exchange. December meeting: supervise the distribution of gifts.
4-H Uniform Recycle: Ongoing
Collect outgrown 4-H whites from members, publish an inventory list in the newsletter, bring uniforms to the meetings to distribute.
SVF 4-H Building Host, May: April meeting

Make a sign up sheet to pass around at the April meeting. One for parent volunteers to help take items to the fair and pick them up after the fair and one for members if they need items taken to the fair.

Plan a special event for the club i.e. bowling, movie night etc.

Plan a special event for the club, i.e. ski trip.

Plan a special club event, i.e. bowling, water park, outdoor theatre.
Heritage Foundation Fundraiser: Ongoing
Plan and execute a fundraiser for the Heritage Foundation of the SVF.
