New-Clear Creek 4-H Online Classifieds?

Please send me your feedback and ideas!

I’ve had several people ask if they could place items for sale, trade or free on the website.  I think it is a great idea to keep people coming back to our club home page.

So, we will have a trial period, say six months, to see how it goes.  I would love your feedback.

General Intent:  Provide a 4-H Club forum to let others know what goods, equipment, animals or services our members have available.

Who Can Post:  Limited to our Clear Creek 4-H Club members in good standing.  There may be variations to this from other Nevada County 4-H members who inquire.

Time:  Classifieds will remain on the site for two weeks and then be removed if the Webmaster has not already been notified.

Buzz on the Bee Project

The 4-H Bee Project will start on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:00am.  This project will be treated as a “Large Animal” for age requirements.

There  is a onetime start up cost of several hundred dollars give or take.  Nothing needs to be purchased until April.  Meetings will be held on the 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00 am at the leaders house located at 16220 Duggans Road, Grass Valley.  This is in the Lake of Pines area by Pleasant Ridge School. 

Should you have any questions please call my junior leader Jessica Burgess at 272-2261 or myself at 263-5618.  Parents must be present at the first meeting to complete the necessary forms.
