At the 4H Y.E.S. program, we teach 6 different curriculums, each with about 5 sections
and 2 or 3 activities in each section. Here are some the curriculums:
Kitchen Science: Children learn about the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch
in the kitchen as they explore science activities through
kitchen foods, tools, and recipes.
Wonderful Worms: Children explore the natural habitat of earthworms, observe their behavior, and learn first hand how important earthworms are to our environment.
Collection Connection: Kids love to collect, and they learn to observe, communicate, compare, and organize a variety of objects in this unit.
Magic Bubbles: Bubbles provide a fun and interesting medium for children to learn the process of science. Ordinary household items combined with children's natural curiosity provides the magic.
Snail Trails: Children enjoy investigating snails as they observe their behavior and habitat, and compare their snail's amazing abilities with those of other snails.
Wee-Cyclo-Saur-Us: Children become explorers as they investigate how to recycle and reuse products that are discarded daily. They gain an understanding of what they can do to help recycle and how recycling helps other things that live in our world.
