4-H is a community of young people across america learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills4-H is a youth development program created in 1902 to teach future generations new techniques which they will use in the real world. These techniques are focused into the three categories of leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

4-H is an organization for youth, ages 5-19, that promotes hands-on learning and is based on parent and volunteer participation. 4-H welcomes all youth and adult leaders from all backgrounds in all locales regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or status as a covered veteran

The San Bernardino County 4-H Youth Development Program began on Jan. 1st 1957, and has prospered to 348 youth members, 161 adult volunteers, and 24 community clubs spread throughout the county. With a variety of projects and events offered in the program, there is a learning opportunity for everyone.
