4-H Clover
4-H Youth Development Program: Million Trees Project

Tree Strip

4-H Million Trees Network

4-H clubs and units (4-H Afterschool, 4-H Military, 4-H Co-curricular, 4-H Camps, etc.) across the nations are invited and encouraged to join this international service-learning project. To build the integrated network of clubs, the leaders of 4HMT are contacting the 4-H Directors in the Cooperative Extension service at the land grant universities in all 50 states and the 4-H Directors in all provinces. 4HMT will explain the project to these leaders, and most importantly explain the critical and pivotal part they play to build this network by forwarding the message about the project to all 4-H Program Representatives in all the counties in their states and provinces. The County Program Reps, in turn, will receive the letter via E-mail that explains the project and includes an invitation to join the network, and forward the E-mail message to all 4-H Club youth Presidents and adult Community Leaders in their counties. It is hoped that with a relatively few steps, every 4-H club and unit in the U.S. and Canada will receive their invitation to join the project. 4-H entities outside the U.S and Canada are also invited to become participants now.

Network Flowchart

Individual 4-H Clubs are very powerful due to the energy and hard work of their youth leadership, the general membership, and the adult volunteers. Other 4-H units thrive under their dedicated and community-minded leadership. The power of a continent of 4-H youth, united to complete a valuable global community service project, is much greater than the sum of the parts. Please join us in this project, and help us make a difference in our world.
