added accounts -> Burrel Leonard and Charles Kuhn accounts. Kuhn funding is going to split with chaperone funds, Leonard will fund scholarships and a memorial fund for tractors.

- California Focus: A Domestic Violence assembly will be held at Westmont High School March 7, organized by the 4-H members who attended California Focus last year. Money from State Assemblymember Cohn's office will be used for printing costs of the flyer to be handed out for the SLC and for the high school assembly.

- All Star Leadership Overnight, and Hi-4-H activities
Sunny Oaks Fire Station Toys for Tots helped out over 700 kids

LO 7-9 Feb, Scholarships from County CE office for members who need financial help to go. Call Sibby to check it out. Need more people to go to have it at Walden West.

- State Ambassador report -> Planning for State Leadership Conference. At UCDavis this summer. June 23 is deadline for registration. Session proposals are solicited.

State-wide Service Project: older member retention servey to find out why so many teenage members drop out from 4-H.

- computer corp -> another state-wide activity open to members
California Computer Camp - at the same time as YSL (just before SLC) at UC Davis.

- SCC 4-H Camp -> Staff applications have been received. Dates for camp will be given out

Planning to have a small animal field day -> May 3 at the San Martin Lions Club. John asked to have interested folks sign up to help plan this day.
Also, chicken quarantine is in effect in SoCal, but there is nothing yet known about how it effects us here in the north.
Fair stuff on the Web is still from 2002. Fair will be similar to what happened last year.

-Entomology conference was held for one day in Gilroy two weeks ago. Feed back from the kids was that they all liked it.

Presentation Day Workshop wa a success -> Trudy is still looking for Judges. Feb 22 at Westhope/Prince of Peace churches in Saratoga.

- Key Leader -> Roster went to the printers.

- Awards -> If there is no chairperson or committee who steps forward by April 1, there will be no awards at the Fair.

- Food Booth -> There needs to be a committee and a chairperson willing to take on the tasks of the Food Booth

- 4-H Principles by Tim Oey
Motion: that the SCC4-H endorse the 4-H Principles as previously published.
Seconded by Deborah Lang. Discussion: How are the principles different from the Mission and Direction Statement. Answer: these are the "bottom up" answers to frequently asked questions. Motion carried.
2nd motion: to have the SCC4-H to add their name to the list of the signators of these principles.
Seconded by Mark T. Motion carried.
