A Cartoon with 4-H in it was passed around.
A presentation of Placques to Ronne and Kevin for their participation in SCC 4-H these many years.
All Stars orientation date is moving.

-pre-fair picnic? Exec board says YES.
-all star orientation -> no date set yet.
Unfinished business
Nominating committee has not yet met. John H. requested of attendees to think about potential contacts for the positions up for vote this July. Up for election this year are the positions of: Vice President, Corresponding Secretary/Historian, Large Animal Science, Engineering Science, Healthe and Leisure Science, and Social Science.
Food Booth -> Re-hang the lights on July 19. following weekend need to sanatize the food booth.
Problems with clubs not wanting to work their signed up time at the booth. There may be a club assessment to support Council activities if the Food Booth is not properly staffed by the clubs. Why don't people want to work the food booth? The "all day" committment may be a hurdle which many people have a hard time with.
Food booth training needs to be for everyone who works the food booth, while Food Saftey Training and Certification is needed by only a couple of people per shift. Kevin is willing to help with the Food Booth training. Need to have the meeting prior to camp. July 2, 7 pm. at the Wentzel's house
Food booth orientation Sunday, 27 July and Monday, 28 July.
Fair -> there will be a demolition derby at 3 pm on Sunday in the Horse Arena. We need to ask the Fair to release the animals before 2 pm, or to put up a perimeter fence to contain the animals that get out of their pens due to the noise. Eileen to be contacted.
Marketing -> There will be an Information booth in Gateway Hall this year at Fair. Surveys will be given at the Fair by member volunteers. Other marketing oportunities were discussed: One posibility is to volunteer to have the "Lost Child" area be co-located with the 4-H Information Booth, and have 4-H members with games and refreshments be able to take care of the lost children until they are reclaimed.
Garfield is the official mascot for "4-H Wants You" national campain this year.
Flag Day -> Trudy needs volunteers for Flag Day.
Camp -> Staff is working on it. Not ready yet, but will be by Camp date.
Other Reports:
Key Leader -> CCL training day last weekend. Finance issues to CE office. Need bank statement that reflects each club balance as of June 30. another issue is the hat etiquette - how medals and pins are to be worn.
Shooting sports leader training will be given by Raoul B. Salem this fall.
NC Sectional Council rubrics for Presentation Day judging were passed around.
Awards -> About $5000 has been raised so far. Duffle bags, chairs, other goods will be procured as awards – but no trophies.
Small Animal -> meeting planned before fair, but no date set yet.
Plant and resource Sci. -> Gateway hall July 31 for the medalist test for Plant science. Will be starting a School gardening project next year. Wants to start "benificial bug" day.
Social Science -> 9 county members went to State Presentation day.
No County Citizenship focus this year, since no one stepped up to take on the responsibility.
