Called to order by President Vicky Bosworth at 7:35 pm.

President's report: 
Program: Cal Conference Delegation
Leaders, Managers, Facilitators discussions. County plan...
Problem: New families don't know what to do. They don't feel comfortable, they don't' understand the program - result - drop out
Barriers to overcome: Communication, cliques, resources, understanding events, socialization, fear of participating, understanding the program.
Solution: implement a county-wide buddy system e.g. experienced families partner with new families with similar interests. Recommend that each club put a buddy system in place this year.

Youth Advisor: Fe is participating in the State trainings. She is presenting a workshop on family involvement in the 4-H program. 

Large Animals: 
Lonnie and Hans are participating in volunteer leadership group at fair - 
Herdsmanship rules at the fair - Cleaning, education displays, medalist questions, etc. Winner gets to leave early and choose their stalls for next year.
Orientation meeting Tuesday, April 24. No pre-fair tagging. Supposed to mail out eartags in advance. Other issues yet to be announced.

Small Animals: 
Field day moved to April 21. Planning day on Thursday, March 22. PPR planning on March 21 at 7:00 pm. 

Social Science: 
Favorite Foods Day. March 31 at Gilroy Grange. Favorite Foods Day workshop March 17 at San Martin Pres. Church 1-3. 
Need MCs and Judges for Sectional Presentation Day. Need chair for county citizenship and for Clover day camp. 
Kevin's Flash - Do clover camp at camp? Shilo will work on it with us.

Engineering Science: 
We have a small team working on reorganizing the county web site. Volunteers welcome. Contact Kevin.

Camp: Camp theme is Cartoon and comic characters. 

Awards: Jim needs help getting donors for awards. Bronze medalist test for entomology submitted for approval. Jim needs each project area chair to send him estimates on the number medals needed for medalist testing. 

Key Leader: County will print TT. They can label as they print. Lonne needs TT articles by the end of this week. Lonnie is going to the training day at UC Davis.

Board room not available during the last week of April or anytime in May. 

Unfinished Business
Fair: Errors in receiving dates - Sat April 28: needle arts, arts and crafts, home furnishings. Lonnie will publish fair corrections in TT.
Senior and low cost housing will be built in the area where the Little League field is currently located.
