Reports
- - Awards
Marvel Davis and Salene Jordan have been helping Donna Hampton on the Awards. A letter has been sent out to the 4H
community in Santa Clara about the Fair awards. Issues of established award-givers brought up. Stills has been a real chore last
year, and the help needs to be organized before the fair. Many opportunities for help exist for the Fair.

- Large Animal
Scrapes disease -> sheep, goats, and pigmy goats must have ear tags to enter and show at SCC Fair. State Fair rules are being
followed.
West Nile Virus is affecting horses in CA. two shots, two weeks apart. Mosquitoes are the vector for the virus.
At the 2004 SCC Fair -> if there is a project in meat goat in 4-H or FFA, Fair will add them into the auction
Horse entry fees are lowered this year. Horses can go in and out each day, do not need to stay overnight.
Large Animal Field Day next year-> if you want to help put on that event next year, let Bob know.
- - - Dairy goat judges---can we help support for fair? If needed ->
MSC to cover the amount in excess paid by Fair to hire the dairy goat judge, NTE $500. This could cover having a pygmy goat
judge for small animal round robin, too.

Pygmy goat show is moved to 1 pm on Friday at Fair this year.
