President Vicky Bosworth called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

-Treasurer's report
Burrell Leonard Monies have arrived
treasurer's report approved as presented.
The Leonard Endowment funds have been increased by another $14,000, so the total
is now over 100,000. The interest is estimated to be about $6000 a year.
Hans introduced a motion to further fund the Domestic Violence team going to
Alaska to give their pitch there. He moved that an additional $500 per member be
provided to them.

Meeting with David Henderson, National 4-H Council. He has been recently hired
to further the program. Vicky brought up that Adult volunteers are key to the
program. He is interested in individual emails about ideas. He can be reached at

Youth Reports
All Stars- Not too much prior to this past weekend. Leadership Overnight
planning is top of the list. Not many signups yet.
State Ambassadors - Rachel T. Still working on their year long project. New
State Ambassodors applications are to be out soon. cCC and
6th Grade Conference - December conference -> small group, but they had fun.

National Avian Bowl - Aaron T. and group represented CA. Took 2nd place.

Presentation Day - only 8 have sined up for the workshop this weekend at the
fairgrounds. Applications for PD due Feb 1.

New rubric is going to be presented to judges at a workshop Feb 11.
Share the Fun is going to be on the same day. Clubs are encouraged to come and
participate.
Camp - Bruce Gratton is coChair with Mark Teagle. Staff positions are still
open. Camp is the second full week in July, maybe. Santa Cruz Camp board of
directors has yet to meet to assign dates. Need medical personel, chaperones,

Key Leader -> Makeup orientation meeting tomorrow night. Project leader training

Fair Awards - trying to get ready for Fair. Want to make sure all the awards are
appropriate for each species. Want to meet with each of the chairs

Roster is out.
Fair is open to the public on 6, 7 & 8 of August. SCC4H is thinking of doing a
petting zoo at Fair. Outside the petting zoo could be demonstrations on how to
do animal demos.
Shelby wants dates for the TT.
