Pleasant Acres 4-H Club Info
We are a 4-H club with about 50 members, ages 5-19, and about 20 adult volunteers. We meet 10 times a year as a full club and many more time in our project groups. 4-H give us a chance to make new friends and to learn things that schools don't teach. The 4-H "Learn by Doing" motto means that you don't study from books. Instead, you do the activity you are learning whether it is training a pig, building a birdhouse, sewing a new outfit, or creating a web page on a computer. Each year we take projects we've done to the county fair where we can show our work to others and win ribbons.
