The South Section 4-H Leaders' Council meets at: Mount

in!) Meetings are on the second Saturdays of January, April, June, and September, in Agriculture Building 12, at 10:00am. Park in brown Lot G. Various subcommittees meet at 8:30am or after the Council meeting. The South Section Teen Council meets on the same days at 8:30am. Please submit this report form to the Secretary when making a report to the council. |

Registration information is now available for the South Section Leaders' Retreat!! The retreat is scheduled for the weekend of April 11-13, 2008, at the Nutrilite Farm in Lakeview, Riverside County. |

Mt. SAC is also the home of South Section Field Day, May 17, 2008. Breakfast and lunch is available on site from the South Section Teen Council, so please support their efforts! Proceeds benefit the Teen Council and TIC (Teen Involvement Conference). Entry forms for South Section Field Day are due by Saturday, April 12, 2008 (Sectional Leaders Council meeting). Please note that this meeting will be at the above-mentioned Leaders' Retreat. All forms must be submitted by each County Representative, with one county check for the entry fees. Please click on the State Presentation Day logo to find the topics for this year's State Impromptu Speaking competition. Sectional Field Day gold medallists & parents: Please be prepared to decide that day, after the awards presentation, whether you can attend State Field Day, held on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at UC Davis. Registration will be held following the awards presentation. Also, please be prepared to volunteer for judge or room host duties. Everyone should help in order for the event to run smoothly! Entry forms for South Section Fashion Revue are due by May 1, 2008. It is held in conjunction with South Section Field Day on May 17, 2008. All forms must be submitted by each County Representative, with one county check for the entry fees. If no judges are provided, those county's members will not be judged. |
